Love the VersaBox, but looking for additional space and extra security? Why not purchase a version featuring an extended, secured door? This VersaBox offers the same reliable in-wall storage with a snap-in shelf, but it’s been modified to provide even more wall space for packed installs in residential or commercial locations. Now you can put the Internet “in a box” with ease. Keep the door closed with secure tabs, or use a can wrench (not included) to engage the locking mechanism. Your equipment will stay right where you installed it.
Extended Door
When our standard VersaBox is just a bit too tight to close the door, this extended door version provides just enough breathing room to do the job right. You don’t even have to hold this door in place to secure it; our handy tabs let you snap it in and out whenever necessary. Please note: because of the extended door, this VersaBox is not compatible with our Razor Mount series.
A Secure Option
For situations that require a secure storage option (such as PCI compliance), this door’s unique security screw system makes access only possible by using a specialized CAN wrench. Please note: the CAN wrench is not included with this VersaBox, and must be purchased separately.
Versatile Inside and Out
The shelf features a breakaway section that’s perfect for accommodating larger devices – just pop it out and you instantly have the space you need. The VersaBox also features rubber grommets to make routing cables a breeze, and has knockouts made specifically to fit a single-gang box for power and other accessories.
Flexible by Design
Thanks to its durable ABS plastic design, you can customize this box to fit just about any installation situation. Need to add a hole? No problem, just drill right into the box – no special tools required. And since it’s not made out of metal, you don’t have to worry about it reducing Wi-Fi signal strength and speed for the devices inside.
Vented for Reliability
Heat can shorten the life of your electronics, so with all that high-powered equipment in one small space it’s important to keep things cool. The VersaBox features a vented cover that lets heat escape to protect the devices inside.

Our two-layer VersaBox features a hinged, movable shelf that not only facilitates wire management, but lifts up and out of the way to make every piece of equipment accessible without tearing the system apart.
Installs Just About Anywhere
Designed to be used in large scale deployments such as MDUs, QSGs, and track home builders, this VersaBox has multiple mounting options to accommodate a wide range of site conditions. Its optional Pre-Construction Bracket provides an easy method to reserve the space in the wall for a seamless install. Alternatively, it can be mounted directly to a stud using the holes on the sides or use the included dog ears to mount it retrofit into drywall or in the ceiling.
