Discount AVL strives to offer the best customer service in the industry and we do our best to thoroughly and accurately describe the products we sell. Since our products are sold at extreme discounts, we do not accept returns unless the item you received was incorrectly listed or if the item arrived in non-working (DOA) condition when it was not listed as “parts only”.
Many of our items are open-box and we try to accurately describe if any components are missing. If we overlooked an item, we will generally offer a refund for the value of the missing item(s) if they are available elsewhere or will send the missing item(s) if we have them available. If we are unable to supply the missing item(s) and they are unavailable, we will either accept a return or resolve the issue with a partial credit.
DOA/Incorrect Item Returns
In the event of DOA items or mis-shipped items, Discount AVL must approve a return and will send a pre-paid return label for you to return the item. Discount AVL will not reimburse return shipping costs paid by the customer unless previous arrangements are made. Discount AVL will offer a full refund upon receipt of the item and testing is done to determine the unit is defective. If the unit is not defective or the item was correct and accurately described, Discount AVL will deduct a minimum 10% restocking fee and any shipping costs if the item was shipped for free to the refund.
Incorrectly Ordered Items
Under certain conditions, Discount AVL will allow the return of items which were purchased by mistake. The customer will be responsible for covering the return shipping costs. If the item was originally shipped to the customer under our free shipping policy, Discount AVL will also deduct the cost of shipping from the refund. There will also be a minimum 10% restocking fee deducted from the refund. If any parts are missing or if the unit was new and is returned opened, the restocking fee will be higher depending on the condition of the return.
Incorrect Item Returned
Please be aware that Discount AVL tracks serial numbers and/or identifying marks of the items we sell, and the returned item must be the same item as we sold you. We will not offer a refund if the item is determined to be different and you will be required to pre-pay for return shipping if you want the item returned.
Free Shipping Policy
Most orders over $49.00 ship for free using the carrier of our choice. This may be UPS or USPS depending on the size and value of the items ordered. Items over $500 may be shipped “signature required” which will require someone to sign for the receipt of the item.
